Alice Pinguet Called Up to France U23 Women's National Team for October Friendlies

Alice Pinguet, goalkeeper from Nièvre, has been selected to the France U23 women's national team as it prepares for two friendlies against Portugal and Norway later this month. Pinguet, who joined Saint-Etienne this summer, recently secured a clean sheet in an Arkema Première Ligue match against Le Havre. She holds eight caps and five starts for the national side.

The team gathered at Clairefontaine on October 20 to begin preparations. The first friendly is scheduled for October 23 in Mafra, Portugal, followed by a second match on October 27 against Norway. Pinguet will compete for the starting spot with notable teammates Alyssa Fernandes, who boasts 32 caps and starts for France, and newcomer Élisa Gautier.
