Aqua Piriac and Aqua Guérande Unveil Exciting Summer Activities for All Ages

This summer, the aquatic centers Aqua Piriac and Aqua Guérande are rolling out a diverse range of activities and features designed to offer both relaxation and fun for visitors of all ages. Aqua Piriac is focusing on family-friendly programs and swimming lessons for children at various levels. With a dedicated team of 14 staff members, the center aims to enhance swimming skills through structured lessons and fun activities. For instance, children can participate in inflatable play structures on select days, as well as sports activities like koa volley and water polo. Additionally, they can earn nautical passes for kayaking and sailing, and learn competitive swimming and lifesaving techniques in collaboration with ASK44, emphasizing ocean safety for the younger swimmers.

Meanwhile, Aqua Guérande, staffed by 18 individuals, offers modern facilities including a giant slide that adds excitement for thrill-seekers. To accommodate an influx of visitors during summer, the center has extended its hours and introduces 'zen evenings' throughout the season. These evenings feature relaxing activities like aromatherapy and sound journeys with Tibetan bowls. A key highlight of Aqua Guérande’s summer offerings is the inaugural Traversée de la tour d’Alpes swimming event, which will present three different courses to cater to swimmers of all levels, taking place against the scenic backdrop of La Turballe’s Bretons beach.

Both Aqua Piriac and Aqua Guérande are committed to serving as community hubs in Piriac-sur-Mer and Guérande, enhancing these locations’ appeal as prime tourist destinations on the Atlantic coast, where visitors can embrace aquatic activities and the surrounding cultural experiences.
