Boualem Sansal, the Franco-Algerian writer, is set to give his first public interview since his release from an Algerian prison on November 23. The interview will be broadcast on France 2's 8 PM news and conducted by journalist Laurent Delahousse.

Sansal was released on November 12 after serving a year of a five-year sentence, which stemmed from his comments made in October 2024 about Algeria's territorial history.
