Brigitte Bardot Laid to Rest in Saint-Tropez with Intimate Funeral and Tributes

Brigitte Bardot, the iconic French actress and activist, was laid to rest on January 7, 2026, in a discreet ceremony at the Notre-Dame-de-l’Assomption church in Saint-Tropez. Despite freezing temperatures, a crowd of admirers gathered to honor her memory, while notable attendees included politician Marine Le Pen, singer Mireille Mathieu, and actor Paul Belmondo. Bardot chose a simple farewell, declining an official national tribute as requested by her family.
