Dutch cyclist Demi Vollering sealed her second Tour de France Femmes victory on August 9, 2026, after a commanding performance in the race’s final stage in Nice. Riding for the FDJ United-Suez team, Vollering not only secured the overall title but also won the ninth and last stage in an impressive solo finish while wearing the coveted yellow jersey.

Starting the last stage with a narrow eight-second lead over Poland’s Kasia Niewiadoma, Vollering launched a decisive attack during the final climb at Col d'Eze. She managed to break away and crossed the finish line more than a minute ahead of her closest rival, winning the stage and extending her overall lead to 1 minute and 18 seconds.
