France Eyes Multiple Medals at Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics on February 15

The French Olympic team is gearing up to potentially surpass their previous Winter Games medal record of 15, with significant chances in biathlon, snowboardcross, and skiing during the events scheduled on February 15 in Milan-Cortina. Key athletes such as Quentin Fillon Maillet, Émilien Jacquelin, and Éric Perrot are strong contenders in the men's biathlon pursuits set for 11:15 AM and 2:45 PM. Fillon Maillet already secured four gold medals at these Games, including a sprint victory.

The French snowboardcross team, recovering from an unprecedented lack of individual podium finishes, aims to redeem their fortunes in the mixed team event, fielding three pairs with hopes of medals. Mathis Desloges and his teammates will compete in the men's 4x7.5 km relay in cross-country skiing, with Desloges having earned a silver in the 10 km event, finishing behind Norway's eight-time champion Johannes Klaebo.

Other competitions include the women's monobob in bobsleigh and men's parallel mogul skiing. The day also features a preliminary ice hockey match between Canada and France.
