The French figure skating team finished sixth in the team event at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan, narrowly missing qualification for the finals by a single point. France accumulated a total of 24 points, finishing just behind Georgia, which secured 25 points. Despite the team's overall shortfall, Kevin Aymoz delivered a standout performance, placing fourth in the short program with 88.05 points and contributing seven crucial points to the French total. Aymoz expressed pride in his performance and gratitude for his teammates' support, especially after overcoming challenges such as injuries and equipment issues.

The team’s performance was notably affected by lower scores in the pairs and women's events, which ultimately hindered France's push into the top five needed to advance. This sixth-place finish matches France's best result in the team event since its introduction at the 2014 Sochi Games. The United States led the standings with 34 points, followed closely by Japan and Italy. Following the team event, French skaters Laurence Fournier Beaudry and Guillaume Cizeron are now turning their attention to the ice dance competition beginning Monday.
