Guingamp Prepares a Rich Program of Christmas Entertainment for 2025

The town of Guingamp is gearing up for a vibrant and festive Christmas season with an extensive program of animations under the theme "Enchanted Christmas in Guingamp." The festivities include concerts, a Christmas market, amusement rides, and Santa Claus appearances, aiming to bring joy and enchantment to the community.

Decorations have transformed the town center with a glittering locomotive, festive garlands, charming small chalets, and a large Christmas tree, creating a magical holiday atmosphere. The overall budget for these events is estimated at €16,000, with approximately €6,000 funded by a local lottery organized by merchants in mid-November, demonstrating strong local support for the celebrations.

Houssine Aatach, Guingamp's deputy mayor in charge of finances, commerce, and city events, emphasized the importance of entertainment during these challenging times. He stressed that "people need entertainment," highlighting the community's desire for festive cheer amidst current national and global difficulties.
