Macron Proposes Mandatory Political Ban for Elected Officials Guilty of Antisemitism and Racism

On the 20th anniversary of Ilan Halimi's tragic assassination, French President Emmanuel Macron has called for stringent measures against elected officials who commit antisemitic and racist acts. During memorial events, Macron revealed his intention to introduce a mandatory penalty of ineligibility from political office for such individuals.
