New Partnership Launched to Promote Inclusive Sports in Africa

On June 12, 2025, a landmark partnership was signed between the Fédération Française de Sport pour Tous (FFSpT) and the Fédération Africaine de Sport pour Tous (FASpT), marking a significant step towards enhancing inclusive sports initiatives across Africa. This collaboration, which was formalized with the involvement of the Ministry of Sports, Youth, and Associative Life, is particularly timely as it precedes the upcoming International Festival of Sports for All, set to take place in Côte d'Ivoire from November 24-29, 2025.

The festival aims to serve as a crucial platform focused on inclusion, education, and well-being through sports. As part of the new partnership, four primary initiatives have been outlined: training programs for sports facilitators, community engagement events, the African Federation's General Assembly, and a gala dedicated to honoring those who demonstrate innovation in promoting sports.

Both federations' leaders expressed optimism regarding this collaboration, emphasizing its potential to foster inclusive practices and enhance sports accessibility across the African continent. The initiative is seen as a vital step in integrating positive social values through sports, thus contributing to community cohesion and development.
