The three women, all around 20 years old, were detained following discussions of violent jihadist actions online, including plans involving firearms and potentially an explosive belt. One of the accused, identified as B., reportedly led the group’s online efforts by sharing pro-jihad content on TikTok, where she had amassed 20,000 followers. The group convened physically in Lyon, leading to arrests in the Rhône and Cher regions. Abdeslam, notorious as the sole surviving attacker from the November 13, 2015 terror incidents, is now linked to an unlawful possession case of a USB key.
