Seven Social and Solidarity Economy Projects Awarded in Côte-d'Or and Bourgogne-Franche-Comté

In the 2025 regional awards celebrating social and solidarity economy (ESS) initiatives, seven projects across Côte-d'Or and Bourgogne-Franche-Comté received recognition for their impactful and innovative contributions.

Five projects were awarded €3,600 each in the 'valorisation des projets ESS' category. SCOP Carte blanche from Doubs specializes in sustainable collective catering for schools and operates a cooperative restaurant promoting quality meals and environmental respect. Ani’Nomade, based in Côte-d’Or, supports children affected by violence during legal proceedings through therapy dogs, offering comfort and care in challenging circumstances. Le Champ des sourires cultivates pesticide-free local flowers while creating employment opportunities for women undergoing reintegration. SCIC Ferments communs in Mâlain focuses on local food production, combining farming, craftsmanship, and education, featuring a shared restaurant and training activities. ANAR – La Frip in Nièvre runs a thrift store that promotes fashion sustainability and professional integration by providing second-hand clothing with social benefits.

The 'Coup de pouce' category awarded €2,000 each to two projects. Frigo Plein delivers local products to tourists in Morvan, encouraging short supply chains and supporting local economies. Cinécyclo organizes bike-powered cinema screenings during a summer tour in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté to raise environmental awareness.

These awards highlight the diverse approaches within the ESS sector, emphasizing sustainability, social cohesion, and local economic development.
