Severe Wildfires Rage in Pyrénées-Orientales, Forcing Mass Evacuations and Disrupting Tour de France

Wildfires continue to devastate the Pyrénées-Orientales region in southern France, with approximately 4,600 hectares burned and nearly 10,000 people evacuated as of July 6, 2026.
