Skope Quickly Establishes Itself as a Premier Entertainment Hub in Lannion

Since opening its doors in October 2025, the Skope has rapidly emerged as a key entertainment destination in Brittany, hosting over thirty events within six months and significantly surpassing initial expectations. Vincent Peronnet, the venue's director, emphasized its unique role in combining entertainment with showcases of regional industrial and technological expertise, including fairs like the Open de l’Industrie and habitat and bio exhibitions.

Notably, the venue attracted major artists such as Calogero and Alain Souchon, drawing substantial concert audiences and marking its status among the region's major performance spaces. Olivier Cauchon, director of Diogène productions, praised the Skope's appeal, underlining its growing reputation. Lannion-Trégor communauté currently funds the venue, with a plan to achieve financial self-sufficiency within approximately three years, according to Sonia Hassaïm, the community’s deputy general director.

Looking ahead, a comprehensive review of Skope's first year is planned for June, with intentions to boost its visibility further by attracting congresses connected to local industries, especially cybersecurity and photonics. This strategic approach positions Skope not only as an entertainment landmark but as a centerpiece for cultural and technological synergies in the region.
