Vendée Clubs Set for 6th Round Clash in Upcoming Coupe de France Matches

The sixth round of the Coupe de France is scheduled for Saturday, October 24, and Sunday, October 25, with six Vendée clubs still in contention. This stage is crucial as it precedes the entry of Ligue 2 teams into the competition. Among these, ESO La Roche stands out as the only regional team playing at home, hosting Voltigeurs de Châteaubriant from the National 1 division. FC Challans, competing in National 2, will also host a home match against ES Montilliers, a regional-level team. These fixtures highlight the regional pride and the challenge faced by Vendée clubs aiming to advance further in this prestigious knockout tournament.

In women's football, ten teams have advanced to the fourth round of the Coupe de France Féminine following the third round results. Notable victories include Nieul le Dolent's 2-0 win over Aizenay and GF Pouzauges/Chataigneraie's similar scoreline against AEPR Rezé. Stade Lavallois earned a 2-0 win against Le Mans Villaret, and the dramatic penalty shootout between GF Havre and Loire and Saint-Georges Le Guyonnière ended 7-6 in favor of the Vendéennes after a goalless draw. The advancing teams represent a mix of regional and established clubs, showcasing competitive spirit and ambition ahead of the next competition phase.
