Wildfire Near Bordeaux: Authorities Clarify No Evacuation of City Despite Close Threat

To support displaced residents, over 500 private accommodation offers have been logged, with plans underway to find more sustainable housing options.

Minister of the Interior has described the situation as highly unfavorable, noting the unprecedented nature of the fire and its unpredictable progression. Reinforcements of firefighters have arrived from across France, yet authorities acknowledge more resources are still needed to combat the blaze effectively.
