Zinédine Zidane Shines in Idyllic Debut as France's National Coach, Leading Team to Nations League Success

Zinédine Zidane's debut as the head coach of the French national football team has been marked by resounding success, highlighted by a commanding 4-1 victory over Belgium on October 5. France currently leads Group 1 in the Nations League with a strong chance to qualify for the quarter-finals ahead of matches against Italy and Turkey. Zidane's tactical approach emphasizes creativity and possession, drawing inspiration from Spain and PSG's style under Luis Enrique, and utilizes a 4-3-3 formation to integrate promising young talents, including Rayan Cherki and Lucas Da Cunha.

Michael Olise has emerged as a pivotal player, scoring four goals in four matches, including a brace against Belgium. His performances have been crucial, especially with star Kylian Mbappé sidelined due to injury, opening opportunities for other forwards like Ousmane Dembélé to adapt to Zidane's system. Zidane praised Olise's contributions and focused on strategically positioning key players to enhance the team's offensive dynamism.

This strong start signifies a fresh chapter for Les Bleus following Didier Deschamps' lengthy tenure, with Zidane steering the squad towards a fresh tactical identity and youthful energy, fueling hopes for continued success in upcoming Nations League fixtures.
