In 2025, France's market for Bio Équitable (organic fair trade) products surged significantly, with total consumer sales reaching 207 million euros, representing a robust 27% increase from 162 million euros in 2024. This growth reflects expanding consumer demand and successful market expansion efforts.

The meat category under the Bio Équitable label generated 60 million euros, up 22% year-over-year, driven by gains in both sales volume and value. Fruits and vegetables matched this figure with sales of 60 million euros, showcasing an impressive 73% growth attributed to increased retail activity and new major contracts secured in 2025. Dairy products also contributed a solid 34 million euros, marking a 10% rise, especially in items like sheep cheese, goat logs, butter, and plain yogurts.

Bio Équitable encompasses a broad range of products including flours, canned goods, cereals, legumes, dried fruits, honey, eggs, oils, sauces, herbal teas, juices, beers, essential oils, and plant-based beverages. A key feature of the label is that all products are 100% French-sourced and produced sustainably with an emphasis on short supply chains. This sustainability initiative is supported by approximately 5,000 farms committed to the brand.
