On July 16, 2025, the Club des Directeurs Artistiques (D.A.) announced its official designation as the representative of D&AD in France, a partnership aimed at strengthening relationships between French and international creative communities. Sylvain Thirache, president of the Club des D.A., highlighted the significance of this union, emphasizing, "For all creative minds, D&AD is the benchmark for excellence. This union is an opportunity for us to showcase French talents and highlight the uniqueness of our professions."
This collaboration will not only promote D&AD initiatives within France but also facilitate the identification of local talents for jury selections in various D&AD competitions. Donal Keenan, Chief Creative Officer of D&AD, noted the momentum of French creativity internationally, specifically mentioning that France secured two out of three Black Pencil awards in the latest competition.
