France Shines Bright with Gold Medals at 2026 European Swimming Championships

At the 2026 European Swimming Championships held in Paris, French swimmers Léon Marchand and Mary-Ambre Moluh delivered stunning performances, both capturing gold and setting remarkable times. On August 15, Marchand claimed gold in the 200 m butterfly with a time of 1:51.72, marking the best performance of the year and his first European title. Despite his decorated career with four Olympic and seven world titles, Marchand described the victory emotionally, saying, "It was incredible.
