Pays Foyen Community Provides Direct Financial Aid to Local Businesses

On July 3, 2025, the Communauté de communes du Pays foyen held a ceremony at the Maison des entreprises to distribute direct financial aid to four local businesses, reaffirming its commitment to support the region's economy. Pierre Robert, the president of the CdC, along with vice-president Sylvie Feydel and Jean-Marie Baeza, dedicated the aid packages aimed at assisting merchants, artisans, restaurateurs, farmers, and winemakers, among others.

The initiative includes a dedicated budget of €50,000 per year allocated until the end of 2024 for local businesses to invest in productive equipment and furnishings. Additionally, it aims to enhance the public reception and direct sales opportunities for agricultural and viticultural enterprises. This program complements ongoing collective actions designed to support businesses within the central areas of Grand Libournais. Local entrepreneurs interested in financial support are encouraged to reach out to the CdC’s economic development service for assistance in preparing their application dossiers.

The allocation of these funds is part of a broader strategy to bolster local economies and encourage growth in small businesses and agriculture in the Pays foyen area, which has been crucial during the challenging economic climate.
