Strasbourg Secures 3-1 Victory Over Monaco to Qualify for Coupe de France Quarterfinals

Strasbourg confirmed their place in the 2026 Coupe de France quarter-finals with an emphatic 3-1 win against AS Monaco on February 5 at the Meinau stadium. The match was an intense and open contest, featuring a total of 34 shots between the two sides.

Strasbourg took an early lead through Ivorian forward Martial Godo, who scored in the 7th minute. Paraguayan striker Julio Enciso was the standout performer, netting two crucial goals that turned the tide decisively in Strasbourg's favor. Enciso first doubled the lead in the 55th minute. Although Monaco responded quickly with Mika Biereth scoring in the 58th minute, Enciso's second goal came just three minutes later, restoring Strasbourg’s two-goal advantage.

Despite Monaco's efforts, including hitting the woodwork twice, Strasbourg maintained control and secured the win. Their victory makes them the last team to reach the quarter-finals, where they will face Stade de Reims.
